Cristin Tighe, E-RYT 500, RCYT, RPYT, YACEP, MEM, MA,
teaches yoga to kids and adults. She offers Kids & Yoga! International Training Immersions in-person and online. She's been around children most her life and taught yoga to all-ages since 2003. Her extensive experience includes mothering (one daughter and twin boys), work with underprivileged children, and teaching 6th grade week-long environmental intensives at CA outdoor schools. |

She is certified as a Radiant Child™ Yoga Trainer (for 15 years). She's also certified by Itsy Bitsy Yoga™ (Babies, Tots, Tykes and Little Families), Next Generation Yoga®, Samarya Center for Integrated Movement Therapy™, Yoga4Teens™, Yoga Ed™ (K-8 & Tools for Teachers), Y.O.G.A. for Youth®, ChildPlay Yoga, and Yoga for the Special Child. She was Bizzy Bee Yoga Executive for a Belgian-based company. Cristin has taught over 55 children's yoga trainings.
Cristin is also certified to teach adult hatha alignment-based yoga, restorative yoga as a Relax & Renew (Restorative Yoga) Trainer®, and is also a Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) International Teacher and Trainer, with advanced training in Conscious Pregnancy© Yoga. As a Kundalini Research Institute Trainer, she trained teachers in Accra, Ghana, West Africa (where she helped local teachers build a yoga community), at Asheville Yoga Center in NC and online.
She formerly owned Spiral Flight Yoga, Washington, DC’s oldest yoga & wellness center through 2007, and since traveled to nine countries to train over 850 children's yoga teachers and over 75 adult yoga teachers. Cristin has a MEM from Yale University in environmental health and a MA/PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University in International Policy.
